Company Milestones Print E-mail

The company’s products appeared under IPSoft trademark more than a decade ago and became associated with innovative technologies and solutions for service providers, government and banking institutions.

IPSoft team has a longstanding experience and expertise in software products development and implementation in different sectors. In August, 2006 the team made a decision to create Netris, a legally independent company, for developing solutions under its own trademark.

The biggest 2006 projects were IPTV deployments in Central Telegraph (QWERTY.TV project) and JSC MTU-Intel (STREAM project, now it belongs to MTS).

Since 2007 Netris has been an integrator of IPTV projects for Kazakhtelecom. Netris professionals have built several digital TV headends and has prepared network for commercial use. Netris iVision IPTV Middleware with some other Netris products became the center of the solution. In February, 2009 Kazakhtelecom announced the launching of IPTV services in Astana.

Since 2007 Netris has been developing banking poducts. Now Netris Debt Collection is installed in well-known banks such as Russian Standard (2003), Severnaya Kazna, Alfa Bank Group (2008), Sovcombank (2008) and Sodeistvie, Uralsub Group (2010).

Differentiation of basic market targets guarantees the stable development of the company and gaining a unique experience needed for the leading software developer.

In 2010 Netris was awarded with the First National Big Digit Award in multi-channel digital television. Netris became the winner in the category "The Optimum Development of New Technologies" where we presented QWERTY.TV IPTV Deployment. Besides Netris’ End-to-end IPTV Solution came through to the final in the category "Equipment and Technologies for Digital Broadcasting".

In 2011 Netris won Big Digit Award with Netris End-to-end Solution in the nomination for Head Platforms for TV Streaming. As well the company presented new Netris Video Consultant that was implemented in MTS and Bank Russian Standard contact centers. 

In 2012 Netris comleted IPTV roll outs for Smile ISP and Satellite Service ISP as well as prepared the first deployment of Hybrid IPTV/OTT solution for an operator from Sakha Republic (Yakutia).

Cloud video surveillance becomes one of the key industries for Netris. At IBC show in Amsterdam Netris presented innovative Netris CCTV Platform City Edition to monitor a city life: objects of construction, public transport, traffic jams, security of residents and other aspects. The solution is designed as a key part of Smart City functionality with the aim to increase the quality of life, make municipal services more efficient - all while potentially reducing operational costs.

In 2013 Netris continued to work in this field. The largest city CCTV project in the world that covers more than 120 000 cameras is based on Netris development works. Also Artyom Yermolayev, Head of IT Department and Moscow Government Minister, praised Netris specialists for the participation in video surveillance organizing at the polling stations on the election of the Moscow Mayor September 8, 2013.

In 2014 Netris launched OTT broadcasting for Kazakhtelecom JSC and implemented video surveillance on the polling stations during the Moscow State Duma elections on September 14. Netris CCTV Platform was demonstrated in the “Smart City” concept introduced by System JSFC on St.-Petersburg Economic Forum on May 22.

On August 6, 2014 at the Traffic Centre of the Moscow Government the Prime Minister of the Russian Federation Dmitry Medvedev held a meeting of the Government Commission. The meeting was devoted to the problem of the quality of life and business environment improvement with the help of information technologies. During the demonstration of Intellectual Traffic System, Moscow Mayour Sergey Sobyanin showed Dmitry Medvedev Netris ECHD Middleware video surveillance platform produced by Netris specialists.

In 2015 Netris successfully integrated IPTV/OTT Platform with MEGOGO online cinema to provide access of Kazakhtelecom subscribers to MEGOGO content. Also Netris deployed an experimental zone of CCTV system in Kaluga and Kaluga region.

From 25 to 26 June, 2015 the All-Russia information and Communication Technologies Forum "IT-Dialogue - 2015" was held at the State Complex Palace of Congresses in St.-Petersburg. The Forum was organized by the St.-Petersburg Government represented by the Informatization and Communications Committee with support of Telecom and Mass Communications Ministry of Russian Federation. Key-speakers of the Forum shared their experience in development of city video surveillance systems on the basis of Netris solutions and Netris CCTV Platform.

Moreover, the intellectual video surveillance system for B2G-clients based on Netris solutions was demonstrated to visitors of exhibitions during the 19th International Exhibition of Means of State Security Provision "INTERPOLITEX-2015".

In 2016 Netris won the third Big Digit Award in the Seventh National Prize in multi-channel digital television. Netris is the only software manufacturer, awarded this prestigious Prize for three times. The new victory was achieved in "Equipment and Technology"category in the nomination “The best complex multi-service project” for its own complex multi-service carrier-class solution – digital television and video surveillance platform, deployed for Kazakhtelecom, the largest national operator of Kazakhstan.

Moreover, in 2016 Netris has successfully deployed platform for providing video-surveillance services to B2B and B2C subscribers of Rostelecom’s Volga Macroregional Division. The integration’s distinctive feature is ability to connect cameras using Plug and play mechanism, developed by Netris specialists, which does not require any special knowledge in network set-up.

Also, Netris took part in online broadcasting of the Victory Day Parade and Immortal Regiment action and participated in organization of video-surveillance on polling stations during the elections of the 7th State Duma of Russian Federation Federal Assembly on September 18, 2016.
